Most Forgiving Pickleball Paddles (Highest Twist Weight) (2026)
Quick answer
The most forgiving paddle in PaddleDB is the Selkirk Boomstik Widebody, with a twist weight of 8.2. Next are the 11six24 Pegasus Power (twist weight 7.8) and the 11six24 Pegasus All-Court (twist weight 7.55).
How this ranking works
Twist weight measures how strongly a paddle resists twisting when the ball hits away from the center line. A higher twist weight keeps the face steadier on mishits, which is what players usually mean by a "bigger sweet spot" or a forgiving paddle — useful for beginners and for anyone who doesn't hit the center every time.
Twist weight describes stability on mishits, not touch. If your game is built on soft shots, compare each paddle's Control rating as well.
Ratings are relative: 100 is the highest value in PaddleDB and 1 the lowest. Read the full methodology.
